Mrs. Ethel M. Cook, 53, of Kingman Route 2, died about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 1979 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville.
  Born Feb. 16, 1916, in Ridge Farm, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles and Ora Baldwin Adston. She was married Feb. 27, 1951, in Okolona, Miss., to Herman Cook, who survives.

  Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Kennedy and Mrs. Patsy Lee Cook, both of Chrisman, Ill., and Mrs. Karen Hurst of Georgetown, Ill.; her mother of West Lafayette; four sisters, Mrs. Sally Richards of Westville, Ill., Mrs. Kathleen Lashbrook of West Lafayette, Mrs. Hazel O’Brien in Kentucky and Mrs. Nina Richardson of Gas Hills, Wyo.; two brothers, Robert Adston of Ridge Farm and Charles Baldwin of Danville; and five grandchildren.  

  Services were held Tuesday at Houghton Funeral Home in Georgetown, with the Rev. Carl Lee officiating. Burial was in Elwood Cemetery east of Georgetown. – thanks to S
